Comments: Great page thank you it was a pleasure to revisit my old ship. My name is Daniel Wolverton I was the gig coxwain on the GURKE from mid 62 to late 64. I took her into and through fram in Washington then on to a westpac cruise. We were in Tonkin chasing pt boats many nights. I was the trainer in the rear mount. I still have good thoughts of the ship and the great men on her. Thanks again ...
