Comments: Hello I'm the niece of Henry Gurke and remember writting to him when he was in the service. He was nice enough to write back and answer all my silly questions. My family was privleged to be at the decommissioning of the USS Gurke in San Diego. Thank you all for being so proud to serve on the USS Gurke!
