Comments: I can't believe that this web site has so many people that I remember and
some that I can't. I get out the old cruise books and look up your pictures and see what we looked like half a life time ago. Sometimes I miss those times
and other times late at night I can almost see the reflection of the moon on
the calm waters of the Tonkin Gulf and hear the hum of our engines. Spent a lot of
nights on the fantail just watching the wake we made. Oh well sure is nice to
see you all here I have raised a family and those of you who remember I did
a little Upholstery while on board well I have spent the better part of the
past 31 years doing just that. Had a shop here in Spokane until 97, had to shut
it down cause of the arthritis in my wrists and back and Degenerative Joint
disease in my knees. 'm on VA disability now and working as a Service
Officer for the Disabled American Veterans at the VA Medical Center here
in Spokane. Sure would like to here from some of you. Phone at the VAMC
509-434-7746 8am-430pm m-f Pacific Time. Still have cruise books from 66 and 68. Now my
granddaughter pulls them out and asks me questions about what we did and
where we went. SM3 two tours to nam.
