Comments: I was an Assistant Communications Officer (Ensign) in charge of
electronic maintenance (radar, sonar, etc.). Things went well during my

Years aboard Gurke: Do reunions count?:)
Comments: Gentlemen, I just wanted to take one last opportunity to thank you all
again for inviting myself and the good LT. to come and share in your
annual celebration! Despite the false pretense of an "all you can drink
open bar," the evening spent with you and yours will nonetheless stick
with me as a warm reminder of why I joined and have remained in the
Navy for the better part of my adult life -- unparalleled comraderie and
a shared devotion to God and country - I wish you all the very best and
hope to see you next year in Branson (ya thought I forget, didn't ya?:)
