Comments: I spent one week TAD onboard Gurke. Was an RM3 stationed at NCSJ and rode her up off the coast of N. Korea "Gathering Intel". Was my first time onboard any ship. I seem to remember trying to ourtun a typhoon that time. We were in company with the Wadell (I think). She rode smooth and steady, we bounced around like a cork.
